North American Diatom Symposium 2022
Welcome to the the North American Diatom Symposium (NADS) website. NADS is a biennial meeting normally held at field stations throughout the United States and Canada.
The 26th NADS will be held on September 21 - 25, 2022 at Indiana State University's Sycamore Outdoor Center in Brazil, Indiana.
NVKD Studiedagen
We are invited to hold our annual ‘NVKD lecture days 2022 at Waterproef in Edam. Arthur van Dulmen from Waterproof will host the meeting from 6-8 October

Taxonomic Workshop
The first day 6 October, will focus on the traditional taxonomic workshop; it’s the 11th workshop and so, a great tradition in the meantime. Bart van de Vijver will again set up an exciting program and will present fresh taxonomic insight of the Fragilaria capucina complex (2).
Diatom Lectures
On Friday 7 october is the annual lecture day (no costs) with a number of inspiring diatom lectures.

ASSW 2023 Science Symposium "The Arctic in the Anthropocene"
The Arctic Science Summit Week (ASSW) 2023 will be hosted in Vienna (Austria) from 17 – 24 February 2023. Abstract submission for the ASSW 2023 Science Symposium “The Arctic in the Anthropocene” (21 – 24 February 2023) is now open, and it will run until 20 September 2022.
